Terry Palisch Receives SPE Distinguished Membership and Distinguished Service Award from Society of Petroleum Engineers

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) recently honored Terry Palisch with SPE Distinguished Membership and Distinguished Service Award at SPE’s Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition held 24-26 September in Dallas, TX. Palisch is Global Engineering Director at CARBO Ceramics.
Palisch is being recognized for serving in a host of SPE service roles, developing presentations popular with sections and chapters, authoring over 40 technical papers, willingness to share his knowledge with young engineers just starting in their technical careers; and for serving at the local and international level, including ATCE Program Chair, Dallas Section Chair, and as award committee member and for developing presentations on “How to Write an SPE Abstract/Paper” and “Soft Skills for Engineers”.
SPE serves more than 159,000 members worldwide, sharing technical knowledge for the benefit of our industry. Each year, SPE presents awards that recognize members whose efforts have advanced petroleum technology, as well as their professional achievements and contributions to the industry and the society.
