Shannon Nelson
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nelson serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer since February 2023. Shannon Nelson joined the Company in 2002 and was appointed Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain in 2018 after serving as Senior Managing Director of Sand Operations and Supply Chain, and Director of Distribution. With 25 years of experience in operations, Mr. Nelson has led teams covering Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), customer service, production planning, domestic & international supply chain management, and quality assurance. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Nelson served in various operational positions including: Division Manager with Total Logistics, Manufacturing Team Leader with New Holland Manufacturing, and Production and Transportation Manager with Evans Clay.

Max Nikolaev
Vice President Ceramics & Technologies
Max Nikolaev joined the Company in 2020 as Vice President, Energy, after working for 15 years for Schlumberger. Max is a seasoned intra- and entrepreneur and has gained multiple functions and leadership roles during his career. Max has MSc in Petroleum Engineer, MSc in People Management, and is receiving his Global Executive MBA from TRIUM (a joint program between New York Stern Business School, London School of Economics, and HEC in Paris).

Terry Palisch
Vice President Technology & Engineering
Terry Palisch joined the Company in 2004 and was appointed Vice President of Technology & Engineering in 2020. He previously held positions with the Company including Global Engineering Advisor. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Palisch joined ARCO Alaska and ARCO International in various roles including Reservoir, Operations and New Ventures Engineering in Alaska, and as an Engineering Advisor in Algeria. Mr. Palisch received his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla (now Missouri S&T) in 1986.

Claude Krause
VP Foundry & Emerging Markets
Mr. Krause serves as the VP Foundry & Emerging Markets. He joined the Company in 1987 and was appointed VP Foundry & Emerging Markets in July 2022. He previously held positions with the Company as Director Industrial Technologies, Technical Services Manager, New Market Manager, Business Development Director & Sr. Technical Advisor. He accepted a role in 1997 to develop new global markets and diversify the Company’s Oil and Gas business model. Claude has established new businesses, both domestic and international in Foundry and Mining markets and is owner of several product patents and industry awards. Prior to joining the Company, he held several positions over a 5-year span with Dowell Schlumberger, completing their University of Texas downhole tools and petroleum training for Acidizing, Cementing and Hydraulic Fracturing. Claude received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Texas Southern University.

Tim Kriegshauser
Vice President Business Development
Tim Kriegshauser (MBA/CPA), VP Business Development, has a diverse background in business leadership roles. Starting out in business as a CPA in public accounting, and migrating to industry as Division Controller/CFO positions. He has also served in VP and Managing Director roles on a national level within the packaging and graphics industry. In 2006 Tim joined BBL Falcon to oversee the commercial development of the start-up venture which he and his partners later sold to CARBO in October 2009. When joining CARBO in 2009, as the General Manager, Tim lead the integration of Falcon Technologies and Services (formerly BBL Falcon), and in 2013 transferred into CARBO’s Sand business unit where he lead all business development activity on a National and International level. Starting in 2020, Tim assumed the role as VP Business Development with the mission to build synergy between all business entities within the oil and gas activities at CARBO and other Wilks Brothers organizations. Throughout his tenure at CARBO Tim has successfully developed long term supply agreements and new technology product introductions in all primary business platforms within CARBO, including, agriculture, foundry, oil/gas, FracPro, tolling and AssetGuard.

Ricardo Santander
Director Mining Technologies
Mr. Santander serves as the Director of Mining Technologies

Rich Thurston
President AssetGuard
Rich Thurston joined the Company in 2011 and was appointed Presidenit of Asset Guard Products in June 2022. He previously held the role of Vice President of Asset Guard Products & Falcon Technologies and Services since July 2020. He has also held positions with the Company as General Manager, Director of Manufacturing & U.S. Industrial Business Development and Manufacturing Manager. Prior to joining the Company, Rich served in various positions including Plant Manager with The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company and Production Supervisor with Guardian Industries. Rich received a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University.

Utpal Ganguly
President Stratagen
Mr. Ganguly serves as President of Stratagen. He joined CARBO in February 2022.
